Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files that help GoTripSet work properly and help us understand how people use our Ayodhya planning guides. This page explains what we use and how you can control it — in plain English.

1. What Cookies Are

A cookie is a small text file stored on your phone, tablet, or computer when you visit a website. It can remember settings, keep a session secure, or help a site understand how pages are used.

Some cookies are set by GoTripSet directly. Others may be set by trusted tools we use — for example, analytics services — or by embedded content such as maps.

Cookies are not viruses. They cannot run programs on your device. You can limit or delete them through your browser settings, as explained below.

2. Why GoTripSet Uses Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep the website secure and functioning as you move between pages.
  • Remember preferences on planning tools where those features are available.
  • Understand which Ayodhya guides are most helpful so we can improve content.
  • Measure page speed and technical issues on real devices and connections.
  • See how visitors find GoTripSet through search engines.

We do not use cookies to sell your personal information. Our wider data practices are described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Essential Cookies

Essential cookies are needed for basic operation and security. Without them, parts of the site may not work reliably.

They may help with:

  • Load balancing and protecting the site from abuse.
  • Remembering choices required for a feature you are actively using.
  • Maintaining secure connections while you browse.

Because these cookies are necessary for the service you request, they are not switched off when you use GoTripSet.

4. Analytics Cookies

We use Google Analytics 4 on our live production website to understand how visitors use GoTripSet — for example, which journey pages are read, how people move from guides to the contact form, and whether certain content is hard to find on mobile.

Analytics cookies may collect information such as:

  • Pages viewed and general navigation paths.
  • Approximate location (usually country or city level).
  • Device type, browser, and screen size.
  • Referral source — for example, a search engine or social link.

Google Analytics is not loaded when you browse a local development copy of the site on your own computer. It runs on the public gotripset.com website only.

Google may process analytics data on servers outside India. Learn more in Google's Privacy Policy. You can also use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Performance Cookies

Performance-related tools help us see whether pages load quickly and whether visitors encounter errors — especially on slower mobile networks common among Indian travellers planning from smaller towns and cities.

We may use hosting or monitoring services that set short-lived technical cookies or use similar signals to measure uptime, response times, and delivery of images and pages.

This information is generally aggregated. It helps us fix broken links, heavy pages, and layout issues — not to identify you personally.

6. Functional Cookies

Functional cookies remember choices you make so the site feels smoother on return visits. On GoTripSet, this may include:

  • Selections saved in browser-based planning tools on our travel guides, where those features are available.
  • Preferences that keep a form or filter in the state you left it during a session.

If you clear cookies, these preferences may reset. The site will still work — you may simply need to make the same choices again.

7. Third-Party Cookies

Some pages may include embedded content from other services — for example, maps, videos, or social widgets. When that content loads, the third party may set its own cookies on your device.

Third parties we may interact with include:

  • Google — Analytics and, where maps or embeds are used, related Google services.
  • Hosting and CDN providers — to deliver the site securely and quickly.
  • Microsoft Clarity — if we enable session insights to understand how people read long guides. Clarity is not active unless we turn it on; we will update this policy if that changes.

We do not control how third parties use cookies. Please review their privacy policies if you want more detail.

8. Google Search Console

We use Google Search Console to understand how GoTripSet appears in Google Search — which Ayodhya planning queries bring visitors to the site and whether important pages are indexed correctly.

Search Console does not place tracking cookies on your browser when you read our guides. Google provides aggregated search performance data to us as the site owner. This helps us improve content quality and technical SEO, not to track individual visitors across pages.

9. Managing Cookies

You have several ways to limit cookies:

  • Browser settings — block third-party cookies, delete existing cookies, or clear site data for gotripset.com.
  • Private browsing — many browsers discard session cookies when you close the window.
  • Analytics opt-out — use Google's browser add-on linked in section 4.
  • Do Not Track — if your browser sends a DNT signal, we aim to respect widely recognised preferences where technically feasible.

If you block all cookies, some features — especially saved planning selections — may not work as intended. Essential security functions will still operate where required.

10. Browser Settings

Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies. The steps differ by device and version. Look for settings named “Privacy,” “Cookies,” or “Site data.”

Common starting points

  • Chrome — Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies.
  • Safari — Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
  • Firefox — Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
  • Edge — Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies.

On mobile, cookie controls are usually under the browser app's privacy or site settings menu.

11. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add new tools, change analytics providers, or adjust how the website works. We will revise the “Last updated” date at the top when we do.

Material changes may also be noted on the website. We encourage you to review this page from time to time.
